About the Role
Proposal Preparation: Manage the technical portion of project proposals, ensuring timely input for the commercial team and senior management.
Technical Documentation Review: Analyze client-provided technical documents, summarizing and distributing key design information to the engineering team.
Design Coordination: Lead the design process with internal engineering, testing, production, and commercial teams.
Design Reviews: Organize and lead design review meetings with cross-functional teams to finalize technical solutions for proposals.
Cost Collection: Gather relevant costs for materials, production, and testing to support the commercial team.
Risk Assessment: Prepare technical risk assessments based on client requirements and adjust the technical solution to mitigate risks.
Contract Support: Collaborate with legal and commercial teams to address contractual risks related to the technical scope.
Technical Documentation: Develop and finalize technical proposal documentation.
Client Negotiations: Lead technical alignment meetings with clients, updating technical solutions and cost estimations as negotiations evolve.
Project Management: Oversee contract, cost, risk, document control, and schedule throughout the project execution phase.
Requirements
Experience: Minimum 5 years in technical project management, with a preference for offshore wind or EPC(I) project experience.
Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical/Electronic, or Civil Engineering.
Language Skills:
Fluent in English (listening, speaking, reading, and writing).
Technical Knowledge:
Basic understanding of cable design and installation.
Familiarity with FIDIC contracts and contract management.
Additional Qualifications:
Proactive and self-driven, with strong communication skills.
Willingness to relocate to Kaohsiung in 2025.
